(261 words) Thanks to the great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin, we all know the sad story of Onegin and Tatyana. The young rake charmed the young heroine, who at the end of the novel never said goodbye to her feelings, although she remained faithful to her husband. But let's see why Tatyana fell so selflessly in love with Eugene? After all, even after years, the girl continued to love him.
Tatyana is a well-read, well-educated girl for whom love is not an empty phrase. The book heroes of the works of Richardson and Russo influenced Tatiana so much that she was sure that her chosen one would correspond to the ideal of a romantic character. Of course, when Eugene Onegin arrived in the village, the girl imagined that, well, he was the hero of her novel. The young nobleman, of course, stood out in society, and therefore became interesting to the avid reader. In addition, the dreamy heroine took for granted the pages of sentimental books on which a non-existent person with a rich inner world reminded her of Eugene in real life. So, romance novels are one of the main reasons why the heroine falls in love with a controversial character.
Pushkin reveals to readers the secret of female nature, openly declaring: "The less a woman we love, the easier she likes us." As we know, according to the plot, Tatyana writes Onegin a letter with a declaration of love, and in response receives a mild rejection. Simple logic is not friendly with strong youthful emotions, therefore, after explaining with Eugene, the girl is not able to turn off her sympathy by clicking. But, unfortunately, her love remains with Tatyana even in marriage, when reciprocal tender feelings have already visited the main character - Onegin.
At the end of the novel, the author leaves his characters miserable, but in love with each other. Already matured Tatyana prefers fidelity to her husband, despite the fact that her love for Onegin did not pass.
