(250 words) How does war affect a person’s fate? This problem is posed by the writer Valentin Petrovich Erashov. It is, of course, relevant, because all the time somewhere an armed confrontation takes place. The author claims that war takes away youth, family, and dreams of a happy life. I fully share his point of view and believe that this event is a terrible grief for any person who is associated with him.
Confirmation of this thesis can be found in Boris Vasiliev’s novel “Not Listed”. The main character Nikolai Pluzhnikov arrived in the Brest Fortress before the war began, and they did not manage to record his arrival. The young man met the girl Mirra, with whom he began an affair. It later turned out that she was pregnant. Mirra was killed during her attempt to pester a crowd of captured women in order to save herself and her unborn child. Later, Nikolai Pluzhnikov also died.
You can also give an example from real life. On June 17, 2014, as a result of a mortar shelling near Lugansk, two Russian military journalists were killed. This is the correspondent Igor Kornelyuk (37 years old) and cameraman Anton Voloshin (26 years old). Both worked in the largest media holding in Russia - VGTRK (All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company). On that day, journalists were on the set of a plot about an armed conflict in eastern Ukraine. Officially, the media did not have the right to attack, but wars are always fought against the rules. Therefore, that shooting was the last for men. Igor Kornelyuk left his wife and daughter, Anton Voloshin - his wife and mother.
Thus, we can conclude that war destroys lives. Because of her, people die, starve, go crazy with grief. If you manage to survive this terrible time, it will forever cut into memory.
