(362 words) Parenting can have a huge impact on the worldview and attitude of children. It is very important what the father and mother put into their hearts and minds, since it depends on what personality they will become in the future, how they will relate to other people, what qualities will prevail in their soul, and how these qualities will be reflected in their later life. In evidence I will give examples from the literature.
In the work of A.S. Pushkin's “Captain's Daughter” Petrusha Grinev received many moral lessons in the family. Parents tried to cultivate in him only positive qualities: good nature, sincerity, responsibility and willingness to help people. As a result, Grinev became a man of honor, and all his actions were determined precisely by this quality. It is not surprising, because before sending his son to the service, the father gives him only one instruction - to protect his honor. Therefore, no matter what happens in the life of Grinev, no matter what difficulties appear on his way, he never betrayed his ideals and principles, remaining a worthy man who was true to his word. That is how he was influenced by parenting.
In the play by A.N. Ostrovsky "Thunderstorm" the author shows the consequences of negative education. Tradeswoman Kabanova can not live without power and control, obsessed with traditions and despises everything new. She is demanding in relation to her children, who are afraid of her, keeps them in tight rein, and expects from them only obedience in everything. This, of course, could not but affect the formation of the character of her children. Son Tikhon grew up spineless and weak-minded man, bending under the pressure of his mother. The poor man wants to get rid of his mother’s control for at least a couple of days, so he often goes to a tavern and spills alcohol with longing. Barbara's daughter is trying to adapt to this lifestyle. Secretly, behind her mother's back, she meets Kudryash. She also thought up Katerina on a date with Boris. With her tyranny, Kabanova failed to instill respect for her in children. In the end, Tikhon dares to rebuff his mother and raises a riot, blames her for the death of his wife, and Barbara completely escapes from the house.
In many ways, the responsibility for what children become, of course, lies with the parents. They are an example to follow, as well as a source of influence that determines the fate of the child. Therefore, it is important that the offspring are brought up under the favorable influence of their mothers and fathers.
