In a children's camp in Siberia, friends from childhood and classmates Tanya Sabaneeva and Filka were resting and now they are returning home. The girl is met at home by the old dog Tiger and the old nanny (her mother is at work, and her father has not lived with them since Tanya was 8 months old). The girl dreams of a wild Australian dog Dingo, later the children will call her so for being isolated from the collective.
Filka shares her happiness with Tanya - the hunter father gave him huskies.
